Music of the night

Do you have all kinds of music?
Yes, we do! In fact, we belong to both of the professional DJ subscription services and augment those collections with artists who do not allow inclusion of their music on the subscriptions. We also have all sorts of music for special occasions and themed events. Music of the Night carries a variety of ethnic music, as well.

How many years have you been in business?
Music of the Night is a partnership of 3 DJs, two with over 30 years experience each and one with 13 years experience. Our other DJs have over 15 years experience each. Music of The Night has performed at 1,000's of weddings. You will find our DJs are very professional, appropriately dressed and well versed in the etiquette required for a wedding or other event.

Do you have references available?
We certainly do. After each event, we send out an evaluation card and these are available at our office during your personal consultation.

What kind of equipment do you have?
We use only professional sound equipment, including such makers as Numark, Denon, Sony, Crest, Bryston and Klipsch. All equipment is checked before it leaves for an event and back-up equipment is available.

Do you take requests?
Absolutely. We have very attractive request sheets, with pens, that are included in every package we offer. Our DJs review each and every request to ensure that they are appropriate for the audience and try to play as many of them as possible during the event.

I've never done this before, can you help me?
We are more than happy to offer any assistance we can with your event. We have designed and, included as a part of our packages, an event or reception planner which will assist you in organizing a variety of events which take place during a reception and includes a Most Requested Music List to assist with choosing songs for those special events. Still stuck? We'll meet with you and offer suggestions and our experience till you find exactly what you need.

Which D.J. should we choose?
During our consultation we'll discuss the style you envision for your wedding, we'll then review your reception planner to determine the types of music you enjoy and require for your event and then we will select the DJ that best suits your requirements. Of course, if you have already seen one of our DJs perform and would like to guarantee their attendance; you may do so for a small reservation fee.

How much do you charge?
Sometimes the first question asked, but not necessarily the one that gives you the information you require. You'll find a very wide variety of answers to that question because a number of your requirements need to be determined first, such as: length of performance time, number of guests to determine sound equipment requirements, lighting packages, etc. When you asked for a price, make sure you know what is included in the quote.
